Tomorrow is my last day. I've been here for four years and even got a little teary eyed today. I started when it was crazy. Our team went to strip clubs for fun and partied hard. We'd have cocktails, in the office, around 4:00 some days. We were working hard but playing hard too. Then the lay offs started and it got smaller and smaller and more and more like a "real" company with asshole management and everything. I'm not sure when it quit being rewarding but I had to do something other than complain so that brings me to now.
I'm starting a new job on Monday and am hoping it's like it was for me four years ago and that the people are nice and we have fun working together and feel like we're accomplishing something. I don't need to save the world but I do need to get satisfaction from a job well done.
