LA has been hard for us. Right when we moved there was tons of work to be done. We lived in a construction zone, kind of like those people on E that are supposed to fix their place up on a budget in that new reality show. Except we had to do it and juggle working/looking for a job. That’s reality!
We finally fixed up the place but then Boomer died which was so devastating. I remember wondering if I’d ever not be sad about that cute little guy with the lop-sided grin.
Next it was Michele getting harassed at work and then getting fired when she complained about it.
Now it’s Michele having a hard time finding work and really being down. She’s been working since she was a teenager and so not working is taking it’s toll on her self esteem. I have to admit, I was liking it cause she does so much for us while I’m at the office. But I know that she needs a job and am really trying to be there for her and positive and stuff. I know she’ll find something, sometime soon. It’s just really hard out there and really hard when you’re a couple and one is hurting and trying so hard but just not finding it.
